The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has brought home a Filipino who suffered cardiac arrest while on a business trip in Beijing, China last month.
In a statement issued Thursday, the DFA said Eddie Moralda was flown in to Manila on June 26, after he regained consciousness and discharged from a hospital in Beijing.
Moralda was in comatose condition after his cardiac arrest. His medical condition was then reported to the Philippine Embassy in Beijing.

The DFA said it then dispatched a medical team to accompany Moralda in his flight back home to Manila he was discharged from the hospital.
Moralda was received by officials from the Department of Health and the Department of Social Welfare and Development upon his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Moralda is still recovering in a medical facility, the DFA said.
