Embassy Clarifies iDOLE Issuance

The Philippine Embassy has issued an advisory stating that it has yet to received full implementing guidelines for the issuance of the much-anticipated OFW ID card or iDOLE.

Labor Attaché Ophelia N. Almenario, who signed the advisory, said the embassy “has yet to receive the written instructions as well as the implementing rules and regulations for the issuance of this ID card.”

“Thus,” she added, “we are still processing OECs to date, subject to existing rules and regulations.”
