“Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) Travels to Buraydah for Third Time this Year, Assists 479 Filipinos

Riyadh, 29 September 2014) – The 29th “Embassy on Wheels” consular outreach mission this year was held in Buraydah, Al Qassim, on 26-27 September 2014, serving a total of 479 Filipinos. It was the third time this year that the Embassy extended consular services to the Filipino community in Buraydah.

Of the 479 consular transactions processed by the Embassy team that was led by Consul General Marshall Louis Alferez, 318 were passport renewals, 50 were notarials, nine were Reports of Birth and six were passport extensions. There were also 96 new passports released.

Those who availed of consular services during the EOW accomplished 116 Client Feedback Forms, out of 318 forms distributed. The client feedback mechanism is part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service. The following were the results of the survey:

 

The successful outreach mission was made possible thru the assistance of officials of the Philippine International School Buraidah and the support of volunteers from the Filipino community there.

The next “Embassy on Wheels” will be in Al-Khobar, Eastern Province, on 10-11 October 2014. The venue will be the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam. (END)
