From Nov. 1 to 8: OFWs May Request Mass for the Dead Online

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) invites overseas Filipino workers and seafarers to join the national observance of All Souls’ Day through their website Undas Online.
“There are so many Filipinos abroad and since Filipinos use to go to Churches, cemeteries, and then we offer Masses, prayers, ‘yung mga nagpapasponsor so I said we can do that online,” CBCP Media Office Director Msgr. Pedro Quitorio III said, adding that many Filipinos from the Middle East use the service.
Filipinos out of the country may request for prayers and submit the names of their departed loved ones to undasonline@yahoo.com or through the form at the Undas Online website (undasonline.com).
Masses will be celebrated at the CBCP chapel in Intramuros, Manila from Nov. 1 to 8.
According to the website, CBCP is also open to voluntary donations for the stipends of the priests who will officiate the Masses.
Several resources such as prayers for the dead and homilies of Pope Francis can also be found on the website.
