Pinay Maid Still Wants to Work in Singapore after Attack
MANILA – The Filipina maid who was seriously injured in the attack that left both her employers dead is still willing to work in Singapore.
The Straitstimes.com reported on Tuesday that Jasmen Corpuz has been discharged from the hospital after sustaining slash wounds on her shoulders and back, and left upper arm.
Corpuz was injured after her male employer, Ken Ong, slashed her after fatally attacking his wife, Karen Koh, inside their condominium last January 30.
Despite her injuries, Corpuz managed to escape. The report said a cleaner found her bloodied and notified authorities.
The couple died in a hospital due to their injuries. Their young son was not at home when the attack happened.
Prior the attack, Ong had posted on Facebook his “Final Note”, detailing his rage over his wife, their divorce, her family, and even at their Pinay maid. He also sent the same letter to media outlets.
