Result of Electrical Engineers Special Exam in Middle East Released

The Professional Regulation Commission had released the list of successful examinees of the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations held in Middle East earlier this month.

A total of 31 out of the 87 Registered Electrical Engineers and 88 out of the 202 Registered Master Electricians examinees passed the special exam that was given by the Board of Electrical Engineering United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.  It was specifically held in Abu Dhabi, Al-Khobar, Riyadh and Doha with Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Francis V. Mapile supervising the exam.

PRC also announced that registration for the issuance of their ID and Certificate of Registration is to start on Oct. 29, 2014.  Registrants will have to bring the following:

  • Duly accomplished Oath Form
  • Current Community Tax Certificate or cedula
  • 1 piece passport-size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
  • 1 short brown envelope with name and profession

PRC also reminded that there will be fees to be paid upon registration.  Registered Electrical Engineer for 2014-2017 will pay the P1, 050 (P600-Initial Registration Fee, P450-Annual Registration Fee), while Registered Master Electrician will pay P870 (P450-Initial Registration Fee and P420-Annual Registration Fee).
