Returning OFWs Urged to go Online to get their OEC

MANILA – Overseas Filipino workers spending the holidays in the Philippines are urged to use the Balik Manggagawa Online to get their overseas employment certificate, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration said.

Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said the BM Online spares OFWs of long queues as well as speed up the process for the convenience of the workers.

Cacdac said BM Online is available only for workers on vacation, rehired, or returning to the same employer, and with existing record in the POEA database.

A Balik-Manggagawa or returning worker who does not meet the criteria will be redirected to the BM Appointment page for regular processing of OEC on a chosen date and time and preferred processing site of the worker.

The BM Processing Centers in Metro Manila are located at:

Trinoma, Quezon City
SM Manila
Duty Free Philippines, Paranaque City
Pag-Ibig Main Office, Makati City
OWWA Main Office, Pasay City
POEA, Ortigas

They can also process OEC’s at POEA’s provincial offices:

San Fernando, La Union
Tuguegarao, Cagayan
Baguio City
SM City Pampanga
Calamba, Laguna
Legaspi City
Cebu City
Iloilo City
Bacolod City
Tacloban City

The offices and shopping malls mentioned are closed on days declared by the Office of the President as regular and special holiday.
