What will you witness when a thousand Filipino volunteers, 95 organizations, strong leaders and a supportive Philippine Consulate collaborate and work together?

The answer – the grandest and the biggest Filipino event yet in the Middle East — the Bayanihan Festival 2017 happening on  December 15, 2017, at the Dubai World Trade Center.
And if that’s not enough to fire up the Bayanihan spirit in you to join the event, here are more reasons to go:

  • It’s a first in history that Filipino communities from far and wide from Um Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah are with Dubai joining hands for Bayanihan.
  • Five Filipino schools are generously participating to share the amazing talents of their Filipino students. These are The Philippine School (TPS), Far Eastern Private School (FEPS), New Filipino Private School (NFPS), United International Private School (UIPS) and the Al Alfiah Filipino Private School (AAFPS). The St. Mary’s Catholic School (Dubai) and Bath Spa University (Ras Al Khaimah) are also participating.
  • An affirmation to the grand scale of the event are the special guests, including ASEAN dignitaries and Philippine government officials, who will be flying in to witness the colorful festivities.
  • Another plus is the immense support from the big media companies The Filipino Channel (TFC), TAG91.1, and The Filipino Times with each one bringing in their resources to make Bayanihan 2017 even more grandiose.
  • And not to be missed is a world-class performance from Jaya that the crowd will hear.

Bayanihan 2017 is an event by the community for the community and is steered by the strong leadership and commitment of Filclub Dubai and Northern Emirates, headed by its chairman, Engr. Maria Fe “Tata” Dayot, and Vice Chairman Ericson Reyes, with the authority and support of the Philippine Consulate under Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes.
