Three More Deaths Raises MERS Death Toll to 19

Three more have died from the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), raising the toll to 19.
The fatality rate now exceeds 12 percent.
Among the three that have died, one was a 40-something liver cirrhosis patient, but the other two did not have any underlying medical conditions.
It is the first case for a 40-something-year-old to die from MERS.
In addition, four more people have contracted the disease, putting the total at 154.

Three patients have left the hospital after recovery, bringing up the total of those who have recovered to 17.
