6 Pinoys Missing after Ship Collision Off Indonesia – Reports

MANILA, Philippines — Six Filipino crewmen of a Danish cargo ship are missing after their vessel collided with a chemical tanker and sank off Indonesia’s Battam Island late Wednesday, state-run Radyo ng Bayan reported Friday.
Other news reports said the cargo ship Thorco Cloud, crewed by 12 Filipino and Ukrainian sailors, collided with the Stolt Commitment some eight miles off Batam.
The collision tore a hole in the cargo ship’s hull, causing it to sink.
