POEA Shuts Down Nueva Vizcaya Firm Offering Jobs in New Zealand
Authorities on Thursday shut down a recruitment firm in Nueva Vizcaya that offered jobs in New Zealand as dairy farm workers, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said Friday.
POEA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said the Ayoneil Travel and Tours in Solano would demand up to P400,000 from victims.
Cacdac said the company along Aquino national highway in Poblacion South has no license but is recruiting “dairy farm workers” to New Zealand.
Cacdac said the authorities that took part in closing down the firm included representatives from the POEA, Solano local government, and Department of Labor and Employment.
