10 Days Free WiFi in UAE During Eid

The United Arab Emirates launches another new promo for its citizens and expats alike for the Eid Al Adha holidays. From September 8 to 17, any person with a UAE mobile number will be able to enjoy free high-speed, high-quality access through public WiFi.

Telecommunication company Etisalat announced on Thursday, September 8, that it will offer free UAE WiFi by Etisalat, a high-speed public WiFi across malls, restaurants and cafes for residents in the UAE during Eid Al Adha period.

UAE WiFi by Etisalat lets UAE’s residents connect to the Internet using their mobile devices in more than 300 major public locations across the country at topmost speeds and the highest available quality in the UAE.

In a report by Khaleej Times, Etisalat’s Chief Consumer OfficerKhaled ElKhouly, was quoted to have said that: “In the festive spirit of Eid Al Adha, we want to be part of our customers’ celebration, ensuring they stay fully connected to their families and friends, whether they’re home or on the go. Our free public WiFi will let them enjoy Etisalat’s high speed and high quality mobile data experience while they share their joy and wishes with their loved ones.”

Key public locations in the UAE that has free WiFi are shopping malls, parks, beaches, entertainment and sports venues, airports and much more. Users would just have to connect to ‘UAE WiFi by Etisalat’ WiFi SSID signal.

After one time registration, Etisalat will send an SMS with PIN number to ensure safety and security. Customers need to use their mobile number as login and PIN number as password. Once registered, the user will be given free WiFi access. After Eid Al Adha promo period users still will be able to continue using UAE WiFi by Etisalat with free access if eligible to it, or with paid packages of their choice.
