Binladin Workers Protest

JEDDAH – Security forces intervened to stop around 150 workers from Saudi Binladin Group from protesting over the delay in disbursement of their salaries and lack of proper accommodation for them.
According to spokesman of police in Makkah region, the workers from the contracting company gathered on the group’s office premises in Al-Rahmaniya district at around 9 p.m. on Monday and started damaging vehicles of the company parked in the area.
Following the intervention of the security forces, the workers halted their protest and returned to their accommodation, the spokesman added.
