DoJ Clears Nanay Gloria

Good news!
The Department of Justice today dismissed the case against domestic worker Gloria Ortinez, a migrant rights activist said.
Susan Ople, head of the Blas F. Ople Policy Center, said the DoJ junked the case of illegal possession of ammunition filed against Ortinez after she was caught with a live bullet at the Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on October 25.
“Good news! DoJ has ordered the dismissal of the case versus Nanay Gloria. Salamat, Lord!” Ople told Hong Kong News.
Ople also thanked Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz for “interceding” on behalf of Ortinez.
