‘Give More Rights for Workers’
KUWAIT CITY, May 2: The Kuwaiti Society for Human Rights has called on the authorities to give more protection for workers, improve some legislative aspects of the Labor Law No. 6/2010 in the private sector, reports Al-Rai daily.
The society has also urged the government and the National Assembly to enact special legislation to curb racist attacks on migrant workers in Kuwait, to guarantee and protect their rights. On the occasion of Labor Day, the society disclosed more than 400 labor cases have been filed against employers.
