Young Fil-Am Journalist Recounts Charlottesville Violence

A young Filipino-American journalist recently wrote about his experience as a witness to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Caleb Ecarma witnessed as the white supremacists came to town, supposedly to protest the removal of Robert E. Lee’s confederate statue.

Ecarma is an intern for the USA Today opinion section, and his recent piece about his experience in Charlottesville has gone viral.
